Car : Pattaya can be reached in a comfortable
2-hour dri ve along the Bang Na-Trat and Sukhumvit
Highways (Highway No. & Highway No
3) via Bang Pakong, and Si Racha. One can also avoid a lot of traffic on Bang
Na-Trat Highway by opting for Motor Way (new Bangkok-Chon Buri - Pattaya route).
There are four routes to get to Pattaya by car. Take
the Bangna-Trad Route or Route No.34, leading directly to Chonburi town. Take
the Bangkok-Minburi Route or Route No.304 which passes through Chachoengsao province,
and then reach Chonburi town. Take
an old route of Highway No.3 or Sukhumvit Road which passes Samutprakran province.
Then fork to the Route No.34 at the junction of Bang Pakong district
and continue to Chonburi. Take a motorway of Bangkok-Chonburi-Pattaya Route.

By
Bus : This is the easiest and most popular way to get to Pattaya. You can take
a bus at the Eastern Bus Terminal on Ekmai Road in Bagkok. There are air-conditioned
buses leaving daily from 5.30 am-9 pm. The bus departs every 40 minutes.
Tel.0 2391-9829. There are also the second-class air-conditioned buses leaving
every 30 minutes from 5.00 am-9.00 pm. Tel.0 2391-2504. Alternatively, you
can take a bus at the Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2) on Paholyothin Raod.
Air-conditioned buses leave daily from 6.30 am-6.30 pm. Te. 0 2936-2852-66.

Plane :There domestic flights flying between
Pattaya and other major seaside cities such as Phuket,
Hua Hin, and Samui, and there are two airlines offering
flights to different destinations. Andaman
Airlines offer 4 flights a week, on Monday, Wednesday,
Friday and Sunday between Phuket to Pattaya and vice
versa. You can also fly from Hua Hin to Pattaya
and vice versa with this airline. Bangkok
Airways provide the daily flights from Phuket via Samui to Pattaya as well as
Samui to Pattaya.
